336 Days to Go: Getting Back to the Sprinter Van Build

It’s August 2nd, 2024, and I’m back in the van. Not just to sit in it and go, “ooh, look at my nice floor,” but to actually get on with building it again. Feels weird to say that. This thing has sat still for longer than I care to admit—partly because life got messy, partly because of the whole heart attack thing (which, let me tell you, is a hell of a way to get out of lifting ply sheets).

Happy one-week anniversary to me and my new van — a 2016 ex-British Gas Mercedes Sprinter, or as I’m now calling it: Regret on Four Wheels.
